Hey y'all, have you ever heard of a Canadian tuxedo? In case you haven't, it's what we Texans call an outfit consisting of denim on top and bottom. Usually, both pieces are in a matching wash and it very rarely turns out looking good. Today, I'm here to show you that this look can be everything you've ever dreamed it could be.
The key to making this work is layering and making sure the denim is in 2 different washes. My shirt is a super lightweight, slightly acid wash, sleeveless denim piece of awesome! I layered it on top of a basic white tank and the jeans are a great mid wash, perfect for any occasion, casual or dressy.
I bought these boots last fall and I'm so excited I finally get to wear them! Jeffrey Campbell makes any outfit better. I also added 3 necklaces, 3 bracelets and a my favorite go to pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses.
I hope you're all a little more knowledgeable about Canadian tuxedos and that you're ready to try mixing denim and denim. This last pic goes out to Ali Hamasaki for saying I don't smile enough in my pictures! Yeah, Summer told me.
Ok I lied, this is the last pic and its me kickin this denim outfit's butt! It's probably one of the best facial expressions I've ever made. Just sayin.
Big thanks go out to Julie Tran and Benjamin Cortez for being amazing photographers. Check ya lata!
